FYI...a USB 2.0 wireless adaptor that works!

I haven't been able to get my RealTek RTL8187L wireless working in my new Gateway ML6714. I'm running the latest version of Linux Mint (Daryna). However, I just plugged in a DLink WUA-1340 USB wireless device in...and to my amazement...it works without any additional configuration. So if anybody else out there has trouble getting the internal wireless to work...here is an alternative!
