wireless driver won't activate
i am having a problem activating the driver from the control panel. each time i click it I get this result

Well, if your WLAN is not working, you need to use wired connection meanwhile. Assuming that you have done that, then your DNS is apparently broken.
If you add any of the above to /etc/hosts, you can work around the issue.
