dragging a file icon leaves artifacts

hi, I'm user of Linux Mint 12 with Gnome Classic. I really wanted to have a truly transparent terminal, so after searching internet i've used this command to enable it:

gconftool-2 --set --type=bool /apps/metacity/general/compositing_manager true && gconftool-2 --set --type=bool /apps/metacity/general/compositor_effects true

And it works fine - but now when I drag and move any file icon in nautilus I've got nasty glitches / trace of the icon.

So my question is - is there any way to get rid of them and keep my transparent terminal.
