KDE question on usability like in Gnome

Would some of the KDE guru's be kind enough to enlighten me on a topic I've been thinking about: Is there similar functionality in KDE as the "Connect to Server" integration within Nautilus in Gnome? It gives a very easy and convenient connection (I use it via ssh) to directories on another server and allows you to do it as if it was a local directory (meaning watching videos without it having to download the entire file before it plays, etc)?

It's been about a year or so since I've used KDE, and was thinking about giving it another shot to see how it was doing these days, but that's one function that I found very limited the last time I used it for any length of time.

I use Nautilus in KDE, and it has those same features available. I just selected the "Browse Network" option and got into the shared folder on my Windows Network. Started up the movie I stuck in there, and it streamed to this machine just fine.

Dolphin file manager is every bit as powerful/flexible as Nautilus if you learn how to use it; as well as being 'native' KDE application.

Thanks for the link. I may give KDE another try soon. I had used the "fish:" option previously but it didn't work as well as the Gnome option in Nautilus, but maybe the "remote:" option will work more like what I'm used to (being able to play a remote video via streaming and not downloading the entire file before the video player plays it).

I'll give it a shot and see how it does.
