(I am pretty sure this has been asked before, but) How can I configure the pop-up notifications in the bottom right corner, like: block certain applications or something?
They appear a bit too often.

I haven't been using kde or Gnome for awhile: went to lxde, xfce (lmde) and have been happy with the get-out-of-my-way desktop

It is possible from my quick read that you can only choose a notification message or a system bell (beep)
