Start application windows centered in KDE [solved]

I've not used KDE since version 3.5. Playing around today with Maya KDE, which seems very solid so far.

I'd like to make the default to start windows centered on the screen but can't find anywhere in the extensive configurations available to do this.

Thanks very much. Don't know how I missed it. (Actually, the configuration levels in KDE are so deep, it's easy).
