"Stuck" Desktop Widgets SOLVED

Postby FichenDich on Thu Aug 30, 2012 7:41 am

After I upgraded from Mint 12 KDE to Mint 13 KDE I immediately noticed something was amiss. Whereas previously the desktop widgets could quite simply be placed anywhere on the desktop one wished, now after they are installed they cannot be moved. :? They can only be adjusted for size. This is especially urksome for the analog and digital clocks. :x As well, shortcuts to browsers and the scientific calculator are locked into position. Am I missing something; can they be moved; are they really locked into place ?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

The problem was automatically solved during the most recent update. The lock/unlock widget button was frozen in the locked position.

I was less than impressed by the underwhelming response from the board community. Surely I cannot be the only person to have experienced this problem.
