Linux Mint 13 KDE-connection pppoe

I have a problem in Linux Mint 13 KDE.After installation I tried to connect to the internet via PPPoE.In terminal I typed

sudo pppoeconf

,I added the username and password of network and finally restarted.Unfortunately I was not able to connect.Now I'm on Linux Mint 13 MATE, where I easily configured for PPPoE DSL choosing from Network Connections.
