Hey, folks;
I'd like to install the updates for KDE 4.8.5 that have come down the channel from Ubuntu, but if I install them, mint-meta-kde and mintwelcome will be uninstalled. Is the dependency list for these packages being updated or how can I get around losing these packages?
Thanks!

it's safe to remove mint-meta-kde and mintwelcome . By the way , i update my LM13 KDE system (in my workplaces ) yesterday and didn't see update manager want to remove thats packages.

Thanks for the response. I actually realized I could look at the repo description on those packages. Don't know why I didn't do that in the first place. When I saw what they were, I realized they were expendable.mank_in wrote:it's safe to remove mint-meta-kde and mintwelcome .
