This is most likely a problem specific to your hardware, as most other users are not affected by similar problems. But perhaps you can give some more information. What does it do when it crashes? Is the system completely unresponsive, or can you move the mouse cursor, or does the numlock key still change the keyboard led, or does pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 still bring up the virtual console? Does it freeze the screen, or does it give a kernel panic? It's relevant to know what kind of crash you have.

Please also open Konsole and share the output of the following command. You can copy text from Konsole, see its Edit menu. That gives is some details on your hardware, where a clue might be found as to something that can cause problems.

Code: Select all

inxi -F
If you are on a laptop, or a brand-name desktop, please also share the make and model of your PC. This may help others clue in on perhaps other known problems. For laptops you can also have a look yourself for known issues, on http://www.linlap.com/.

Depending on what kind of crash you had, you will want to look in the text file /var/log/syslog or /var/log/syslog.1 after logging into your system again. Look for the timestamp that matches up with the time of your crash, and around that timestamp look for errors or warnings. That will be an important clue on what is wrong and is the most likely to help figure out what to do to fix this.

Keyboard is active so as I press Ctrl+Alt + Backspace I redirected to login page. But Ctrl+Alt+F2 , F7 not worked to me. After relogining crashed voice of any played radio/tv continious with crashed status.
I will try to make video from error when it accured.
in attachment I zipped beacuse of website restrictions about file extensions.

Logfiles aren't useful without knowing exactly when it crashed :| Usually, only the 100 lines or so before the moment of a crash are relevant; please look at the timestamps next crash.

The inxi output doesn't immediately turn any red flags for hardware that would be likely to be an issue.

If you have a quad core and 4 Gb ram, maybe a 64 bit edition would be better in the long run. Try it out live, who knows?

I found that: when system be carshed, pushing Ctrl+F2 then Ctrl+F7 would rework again. But an intersting case accures. All open programs (like Firefox, Totem,...) will breaks but minimzed programs work so fine.

I have some program installed on this edtion. So reinstalling new edition needs two additional work for reconfiguration of my operation system. 8)
