Switching betwen active window managers

I've been using Linux Mint for a while now, and I love it, except for it's multi-monitor support. :) In any case, I have three monitors, but currently only run two (landscaped). I have a smaller monitor in portrait mode that I use as a "reader" for documents, but I can't seem to make that mesh with my desktop.

As it stands, the reader monitor is recognized as a separate desktop managed by a separate instance of KDE. I have no way of getting into that desktop, though.

So, is there some way to come up with a hot-key switch to manage two running instances of KDE WM?

I once stumbled upon a script that (I think) did that, but I didn't save the link and I can't find it now... Otherwise, I've found nothing that addresses a situation like this...

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
