Codec-Free Version of KDE?
I'm looking to install Mint KDE and I noticed that there doesn't appear to be a "with codec" and "without codec" version for KDE like there is for Cinnamon and other variations. Am I missing something or can I assume that Mint KDE comes with the codecs? If so, is there a way to get it without the codecs?

Re: Codec-Free Version of KDE?
codecs are onboard as far as i know. your thread title is a bit irritating because it sounds like you want a version without preinstalled codecs.

You are correct, I want a version (KDE) without preinstalled codecs.
