How to switch to virtual console without Ctrl-Alt-Fx?
I have nstalled Mint 16 KDE in a virtualbox for testing purposes. Alas I cannot use some key combinations in virtualbox as they are always passed to the host system (e.g. Ctrl-Alt-Fx to enter virtual terminals). In KDM I can use the mouse to close the X session but in MDM I cannot find any similar option. So how can I 1. close the X session from MDM and 2. put the X session temporarily aside without using Ctrl-Alt-Fx?

use Host-F1 to Host-F12 instead. by default, host key is Right Ctrl.
