I'm using Linux Mint 16 KDE, and have chosen Thunderbird as my default mail in the "Default Applications Settings". It displays "thunderbird %u".
When I use Firefox and click on an email link, KMail launches. I cannot find any option in the Firefox applications to be able to choose Thunderbird. Needless to say that I do not have this issue in the Google Chrome browser - only in Firefox. I also cannot find the correct path to type it. Is there an easy fix for this. Appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,
Fredhoud

I figured it out, and it is working now.

I have the same problem. Could you tell me how exactly you solved it? (I'm a beginner !)
Thanks!

The easy way to change the default email client in Firefox is to follow the instructions in the following link:
