Post by Megazell »

Hey,

Running Linux Mint 16 - 64 Bit - KDE.

How do I remove the sleep option (I just want to have restart and turn off) and feature?

For anyone needing to remove the sleep option:
Go to Applications-Settings-System Settings-Hardware-Power Management This should allow you to set Energy Saving (which allows configuration of Energy Savings) , Activity Settings (which allows configuration of per activity Power Management) and Advanced settings (which allows Advanced Power Management Settings). You will most likely want to use the Energy Saving option and uncheck the Suspend Session check box,
Hope this helps... :D

Thanks. I did that awhile back. How do I remove the actual button. So that all that is left is SHUT DOWN and RESTART only?
