Hello
I have an issue with Mint 17 KDE Desktop:
After a fresh boot and correct login, KDE boots up, but icons on the Desktop (Folder) aren't visible. I have to click righht->Folder Settings->View->switch Layout to Grid Desktop and click Apply.
Then the same procedure, but choosing Desktop Type: Folder this time and after pressing Apply, the icons are visible.
That happens on a 32 bit Dualcore computer with an Intel Graphic card.
Can u help me please to solve that issue?
Thanks a lot.
Al

Re: Icons not visible
Fairly new to linux but you might not have a package installed, parts of search and launch were missing so I installed kde-full and then i could so if hard drive space is not a problem then i would suggest install kde-full.

Hello
Same problem, sometimes after login I see this: http://kepkezelo.com/images/1fh70hmnzunsxpe3n0lg.png
On the right side with a strange scroll bar. Linux Mint 17 KDE 64 bit, intel g3420 with intel HD.

Re: Icons not visible
I hope the 17.1 will solve this issue.
Edit: After update+new kernel, this problem disappeared for me.
