Powermanager....
Every KDE4 distro ive used so far has had this same problem.... when my computer restarts or comes back from hibernation, i get a message on the to left of the screen that says laptop lid is now closed and it goes to sleep, obviously the lid isnt closed. how can i fix this? not a huge problem, but would be nice to fix.

some people have had power problem because there are 2 power management daemons running.
try turning off powerdevil and see if that helps.
you could search in the kde areas for power or powerdevil to find the related posts.
