How can I get a login spot for my wife?

Postby jnstropic on Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:06 am

I put in my name and did not use a password when I downloaded Mint7KDE. It works as soon as it opens, it's great. Then I tried to make a place for my wife. I looked for 'new user' and I ended up with another super user. With Gnome it's easy to add a new user. It must be an easy thing with KDE, but I've tried for two days.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I tried:
sudo apt-get install kcontrol
sudo apt-get install kuser
Then execute these GUI programs from the command line:
kdesudo kcontrol
kdesudo kuser But at this point it said that I could not get it. Do you think that it would help if I download KDE again and use a password this time?
