Using Comic Sans font in Konsole

Postby Howler9443 on Thu Aug 26, 2010 10:24 pm

Hello everyone,

I apologize in advance if this is a silly question. But I recently switched from straight Ubuntu 10.04 to Linux Mint KDE 9 and really love it. I am used to using the Comic Sans font in the console. However, when I try to use that font with Konsole, its not available. I checked the list of installed fonts on the system and it is there. Am I just missing something silly? I'm still pretty new to KDE.

Thanks in advance,
John

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

It could be that Konsole only accepts fixed-width fonts. I don't believe Comic Sans fits into that category, but I'm no expert.

Thanks again!
