Is this a dead project?. Seems like no official word on it. Only on Linux Mint 12 and Gnome, etc...
Would be nice to get some OFFICIAL word on how this project going or if it's officially dead. Been hearing on how so many people are waiting for it, but there is only hear say. Kubuntu and KDE 4.7.2 is flawless, so what is the wait for!. Seems like Linux Mint KDE edition gets less love than Kubuntu and Canonical. Why all the focus on a dead desktop enviroment (Gnome 2), or one (Gnome 3) that is still is in it's infancy. Why not concentrate on a desktop enviroment that is mature and is way more configurable and professional looking (KDE 4.7), than Gnome can ever be now or this Mate project, which has little support from other distros. My Rant!.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Afraid you ranted before you read the forums. The official word on KDE from Clem himself is to be found here: viewtopic.php?f=109&t=79310&start=180. Scroll down the page and you'll find his post. :D
