Linux Mint 12 Lisa w/ KDE desktop problem

Hi there,

I just installed Linux Mint 12 Lisa w/ KDE.

As I am ajusting the desktop to my taste, I just can't find how to :

(1) Make the bottom bar being fully visible (I see only 2/3 of it like if it sank down).
(2) The Apps window are strange (Upper and lower contour larger than the middle part)
(3) The Enlarge, Reduce, Close buttons are not always showing up and when they are visible, they look strange.

NOTE : My computer skill is average (Thus, I don't need to be told everything from scracth but also, I am no geek... so no fancy tricks pls. )

Sounds like a video driver issue to me. Look for "Additional Drivers" in the menu and try installing the proprietary driver for your hardware and see if that fixes it.
