Re: Mint 12 KDE System Requirements
Thanks for the info Oscar, I have Mint 12 KDE running perfectly on an old IBM Thinkpad X60s "Intel Centrino duo" @ 1.6. 1.5 GB of Ram although many suggest 2 GB mine is working fine. A great release from Linux covering a wide spectrum of new and older PC's.
Best Regards.

Re: Mint 12 KDE System Requirements
does Mint 12 KDE have low fat package like ubuntu? what is the usage there?
Re: Mint 12 KDE System Requirements
Hi, well it seems to me very slightly more cpu and ram intensive than mint 10 but very slightly. I am using an Old IBM thinkpad X60s which is nothing to jump up and down about as you know and it must be about 10 years old and linux mint 12 KDE works fine for what I need it for. Emails, Word documents, youtube in HD, editing videos in Kdenlive "a bit slow" but does the job so taking into account the things I use and that the computer is old anyway it works great and the packages you download for updates etc are not that heavy. If I can be of more help just let me know. Regards. Kevin
Re: Mint 12 KDE System Requirements
@ kevin1961: A ThinkPad X60s is not 10 years old. It uses Core Duo or Core 2 Duo CPU according to http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:X60s so can't be older than 2006. Also IBM prints the year and month the laptop is manufactured on the bottom.
