I get to the login screen, I enter my username and password and then I get the following message:
/etc/mdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
localuser:jt being added to access control list
Setting IM through im-switch for locale=en_US.
Start IM through /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/all_ALL linked to /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default.
xfce4-session: Unable to access file /home/jt/.ICEauthority: Input/output error
Has anyone run into this, any idea on how to fix it?
Regards,
John...

Re: OS Crashes after I Login
At the login screen use Ctrl+Alt+F1 to switch to a virtual terminal and login, use rm ~/.ICEauthority to delete the file (put sudo in front if it says permission denied), then use Ctrl+Alt+F6/7 to switch back to gui and login again.
