hot to find usb or phone icons when coneccted.

When I connected an usb stick or my galaxy s3 phone I cant find any icor or signal that theyre there. thanks

I don't know about your usb stick, but android devices now use mtp (since ice cream sandwich), which is a Windows 'media transfer protocol' and a pain for linux machines to detect. Here's a place to start:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/u ... -on-linux/ I can't vouch for its success, as I've abandoned trying to get my android phone connected to my lmde box.

well, lets forget the mtp for now..I CANT FIND MY USB STICK! can some one help me? I inserted in the usb port and nothing shows..

Menu>Settings>Settings manager>Removal drives; check options like this:

I have this choises and cant find any where. You think is due in that usb drive is the linuxmint os saved??

I take it you've looked in your /media directory using a file manager. You may have set your desktop settings so that a usb drive doesn't automatically show up on your desktop.
