gsynaptics!

Everytime I restart my computer, or boot it up, gsynaptics hasn't saved my option! (That's to disable tapping, by the way. Way too annoying).
Is there any way I can sort this out? It's really annoying to be typing halfway through an essay to find tapping suddenly take me away from the page or something! Argh!
Any help greatly appreciated!
