Anyone?
I've just made a Mint16 Xfce LiveUSB and thought I'd try out Compiz.
I note that just bringing in the compiz 'metapackage' doesn't bring in ccsm
nor any default configuration. I also note scant progress in response
to 50 launchpad bug reports. Is this a dead-end for now, or is there a
how-to somewhere on getting Compiz to shape up? Thanks.

If you can get Compiz 0.8 working, then you're good. The problem is finding a provider for COmpiz 0.8
