Hi, I just came across this post http://meandubuntu.wordpress.com/2008/0 ... -and-xfce/ which would make Mint look absolutely terrific (since black is the preferred background anyway)
@ Jason's site you find bigger screens and a detailed description how to obtain this background. Unfortunately its still a little geeky thus may I suggest to integrate the setting of the xplanet-parameters into a Mint-control-panel which then generates the script?
IMHO this makes a great eye-catching background -- what do you think?
Really cool background with xplanet and XFCE

Very eye-catching Desktop beauty is a very subjective thing though.lintel wrote: IMHO this makes a great eye-catching background -- what do you think?

Beautiful.
I love snagging a nicely done desktop like this and slapping it down as the background on my government work computer, a stinking Windows box. Its the only bit of control I have with that computer.
