Will Final Version of XFCE (6) Change from RC1?

I'm running Felicia XFCE from the LiveCD and am very impressed with her. I prefer XFCE though I have a LiveCD of the main Gnome version.

I'm now ready to install her (XFCE) on my system but should !? Is she ready? It seems that "RC1" has been hanging around for a while -- almost 2 months. Are there situations that prevent a final release?

If there's something that is holding up the final release and I install RC1 now, will I just be able to upgrade my installed "RC1" to the final version or will I need to reinstall from scratch? I'd hate to do all that work twice...

(If this has been asked and answered already, I'm sorry. I haven't found the thread for it.)

Remember Mint has a very small team and right now the work is on other things than XFCE RC1 which has been around for little over two weeks - not months :)
There will be changes but I don't think all that much - have not read the entire bug topic though
As soon as the final 64 bit has been released I think the XFCE will be finalised and released

If it means anything to you I have been running RC1 since it was released and am even happier with it than I was Elissa 5 Xfce, if that is possible. :D I have encountered nothing that has even given me pause. I also imagine that the few bugs that have been reported will be addressed in updates, so I say install! Install and be happy! :D

Nope not much will be done.
Some default settings and some missing packages will be installed.
I'll need to test and update some of the mint tools.
Those should fix most of the bugs.
I'm going to as much as I can tonight.
Hopefully by the end of this weekend I'll have a release for us to test.
After we test it and give it the go to become the final, it'll take a couple of days for the mirrors to get it.

Thanks to Husse, FedoraRefuge and Melwiz79 for your responses. I am aware that you gentlemen and a, hopefully "vast" number of others are all working hard on the many facets of Linux Mint, including XFCE, and doing a great job. As it appears that there will be a "RC2" in the very near future, I shall wait for it. When it's available, download and install. The final version, as stated, should then come with only some minor changes/updates which, hopefully, are easy to download and install in the RC.

I can hardly wait.
