I think Hardy is the Buggiest release that Ubuntu has put out.
Then they say they aren't going to fix much until 8.04.1.
I thought service packs were for only Windows. :?

I don't like Opera, and we don't have an opera package for Linux Mint.
Also I don't understand where the default preferences are for opera.(IE Java has to be setup by end user)
Iceweasel, Epiphany and all other Gecko browsers have the same problem.
I hope Firefox 3.0 beta and the new package base fixes this.

New wallpaper is here http://linuxmint.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=74061#p74061]
Will likely have to remove old wallpapers to make the ISO stay lower than 700MBs.

I have already updated mintDesktop-xfce and mintConfig-xfce(got to test if nothing was changed in /usr/share/applications)
I have to update mintUpload and xfcemint-default-settings.
Have some ideas on improvements to make as well.
I like Deluge but will look at Transmission(never used it)

This is just awesome news! Thank you very much!!! :D :D :D

p.s. I was really happy to see deluge in the menu! I think it is a great choice. I suggested Transmission only cause Hardy is using it, and lately I gave it a try and liked that it's simple and light. I'm sure that your choices will be the best! :D

Is there any other menu in XFCE then the ordinary one_
I have a soft spot for those wide, easy to navigate ones, like mintMenu and Tasty Menu, so is there one?
...or is it possible to use the mintMenu, via the Gnome panel, but rather without?! :?
No there is no other menu for XFCE. :(
There is a way to to get the mintMenu running with the XFCE panel.
I would have to do some editing of the code to do it.
Only thing is I think they moved away from python, will have to look into that.(I new how to edit the python version for XFCE CE)
It is also slow when 1st booting into XFCE CE while using the mintMenu.
@Merlwiz: I just tried this distro, and it has a familiar looking menu running under XFCE, that you might want to take a look at!

If you give me a link to the iso with this installed by default, I will take a look.
Also what is the memory usage like?
Is it slow at boot?

I don't have a problem with the menu in XFCE, it's nice and fast. Also I don't have the memory problem with Firefox. Firefox 3 crashes on me all the time when using Flash.
