This is weird a some people seem to have problems with the panel while others love it.
I actually like the default but I have made one that is lighter green and a blue one.
I could make another with a grey panel if you like, but I wouldn't know what to name it.
Probably MurrinaGreen-GreyPanel or something similar.

Open the folder installer.
Right Click and Click open Terminal Here
In terminal run ./install.sh
Enter your password to install to /usr/share/themes/

I'm glad there is already talk of changing the theme for the final release, because the first thing that struck me using the beta was how much I hated the default theme. The dark green glossy look is just nasty.
I happen to think that Xubuntu is the prettiest *buntu by far, so we have a lot to live up with our version. It needs to be at least as good. In fact, please ensure the Xubuntu theme is available amongst the additional themes.
