Clem is French Living in Ireland?

OK. I got confused. I knew Mint originated in Ireland. But then I was looking at one of Clem's posts and there was a French flag. I thought, wait a minute, is Mint really down the road from the Mandriva guys? But then I'm a Dutch guy living in California. Is that weird? How did a French dude end up in Ireland?
