[SOLVED]Capturing Wifi and transferring to Ether cable on...

Postby ActaLaVista on Fri Sep 14, 2012 12:32 pm

Hello everyone :)

Here on i.Cyprus the only way to have internet is to use Wireless,Wifi devices (routers, antennas etc.).

I got 2 computers and 2 wifi antennas and was wondering is it possible to remove one of my wifi antennas and to use only 1 antenna as primary for gathering internet and spread that internet with ether cable between both computers?

I just got before 30 minutes the ether cable (3meters) and I don't know will that work and how to do it. My internet is coming from our accommodation owners.

I had to switch from ubuntu (dual booting with win 7) and I am able to transfer the above described information with ether cable to my linux mint 9 isadora (2nd pc) but the cost is paid - Windows 7 :(
