Mint Users, Are You Using Web Apps More?

Open source software are good and I've been using Gnucash, OpenOffice now for some time.

A couple of days back I spotted a couple of Linux guys at a conference over here in Taiwan. Their laptops are powered by Mint but they primarily use web apps for their tasks.

I think the development in the web app space has helped for people to move towards using an open source OS.

Any thoughts?
