Friend May Try and DDOS me?

Hello I have been using Linux for around 8 months now and my friend has said to me that he is going to boot me off my internet using UrgentBooter which can be found on Urgentbooter.com. It just basically simulates a DDOS attack and he has said he will boot me off my internet using it.
I have set my firewalls to block incoming and have a setting on my router which allows me to block potential DDOS attacks and "ping of death" however I am not sure on its strength.
He has said that he will get my IP from my Skype name and that if it changes through dynamic IP he can easily get it once again.. I am slightly worried about this.
I was just wandering if I have anything to worry about, how I can prevent it, and what I should do if he does attack me.

Set your router to ignore ping requests, and remove him from Skype. If he does DDOS you, just call your/his ISP and notify them of the problem. It helps if you have his IP address. You should be able to find it just as easily as he finds yours.
