Apology!

I apologize for my outbursts - i.e. those posts.

I don't know if criticism is allowed but I guess it broke forum rules.

I still dont' like the Software Manager that is included with the KDE spin but I know that's no excuse.

I did get something to work and I used Synaptic as the software manager. It did work well!

Please accept my apologies. I do agree with some of the other posters who like KDE, though. I think it would be a bonus if some of the other spins with different DEs than the default would be available.

However, I have used both MATE and Cinnamon and they both seem okay to me. I have some reasons for choosing KDE, though. I also like XFCE but have some mixed results with that DE.

Anyway, I hope that Mint can accept feedback and the Linux community need a lot of users to add ideas, opinions because it will be better if there's lots of communication back and forth, imho (between devs/programmers and users).
