I have Cassandra on my very very very old laptop. A Fujitsu Siemens Amilio PRO 2200. :3

The cd-rom stopped working, so I janked it out of the laptop to save some weight. Then the windows on it broke down, so I have since been forced to use Linux on it, since there are no good way to install windows with a usb-stick.

Hah, I'we been spending more time with Cassandra than with my girlfriend! :wink:

I've got Mint installed on my Sony T-250, everything worked perfectly on it, I was really, really impressed. Before popping in the Mint disc I had PCLOS in it and it worked great, but I had to say yes to enabling the driver for widescreen whereas Mint did that for me

1.2GHz Pentium M
512MB ram
1280x768 and quite snappy...

2 Sata HDD (one for / (30GB), the other for /home/civint (120GB))
And a XFX GeForce 6200...which I will be making use of the dual monitor ness which I am informed the 6200 can support, which will be fun!
I am running desktop effects from "desktop effects"...dunno if it's different to using beryl or compiz, but it works like a dream. I did also have xp on my HDDs, but in a install, it screwed up my mint install as well, so I had to do a fresh HDD, which turned out to be a good thing, since it's all now under control.

Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop, Pentium M 1.5, 512MB Ram, NVIDIA GO 5200, Intel 2200BG Wireless, Bluetooth.
Cassandra dual booting with XP and working great!

I have Mint installed on a Dell XPS 410, so far the only hardware issue I've had is that the system would not do a restart until I added "reboot=b" to my menu.lst. Everything has worked perfectly out of the box.

I also have Mint installed on my notebook, an Acer Aspire 5630, I didn't have to fuss with anything on that install.

AMD 2800+ with 512 SDram, 20gb hdd, floppy, 52x CD, Nvidia MX440 video, Asus A7N8x-x mobo. NO WinSlows, just Cassandra.

Everything works - sound, video, internet, network, NTFS mounts etc straight out of the box.

What an easy distro for a noob to Linux.

I've installed Mint Casandra XFCE on my Acer 4052LMi - modified with 2Gb RAM and Hitachi Travelstar 100Gb fast disk.

The smoothest installation I've yet experienced. All applications work out of the box.

WiFi particularly easy to setup.

I have Mint XFCE 3.0 installed on my Toshiba Satellite M115-S3154. Everything works perfectly! This is the first time I've had Beryl working properly and I didn't even have to do anything.

amd athlon x2 , 1bg ram, 80 gb hdd, broadcom wireless, nvidia 6100

was working fine then i messed it up. wireless works great too with some help from the forums.
