It's like the one it says "How to get pregnant?"... Seriously? Another metaphor?

The all time Google search winner is when gay activist Dan Savage got angry at U.S. Senator Rick Santorum for anti-gay comments, so he created a massive campaign to give the word "santorum" an obscene and repulsive meaning, which is the first thing you see when you Google "santorum".
In September 2011 Senator Santorum asked Google to remove the definition from its search engine index. Google refused, responding that the company does not remove content from search results except in very limited circumstances.

I think you mean "How is babby formed?"Freakj wrote: It's like the one it says "How to get pregnant?"... Seriously? Another metaphor?
By the way, that's a very pretty avatar. I've just always wondered why it would load so slowly, and then I went to look and it was around 1000 x 1000 px. That seems like overkill to me.
If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!

I took this image from Google Images and I did not had time to resize to 124px.

Not sure the name but my wife came from it

Re: Whats the biggest planet in the world?
May I gently suggest that you do so, and then upload it somewhere, instead of using someone else's bandwidth? It's nicer towards everyone, including the person who pays for hosting the image. Of course, you'll want to check whether it's free to use or under copyright.Freakj wrote:I took this image from Google Images and I did not had time to resize to 124px.

Re: Whats the biggest planet in the world?
Nowadays everyone has no limit on their bandwidth. I did not resized my avatar because I did not know how to do that on Linux (on Windows I used Photoscape) but I already resized with Imgur Resize Tool.M0em wrote:May I gently suggest that you do so, and then upload it somewhere, instead of using someone else's bandwidth? Thank you and dont beat me
Edit: This forum must have a size restriction on our avatars...
Re: Whats the biggest planet in the world?
That's not true, traffic caps still are a thing, and hosting still costs money too.Freakj wrote:Nowadays everyone has no limit on their bandwidth.
What a great opportunity to learn some new skills May I suggest Pinta? Very easy to use, you'll be able to use it instantly, and it's in the repos.Freakj wrote: I did not resized my avatar because I did not know how to do that on Linux
Okay. How about tickling?Freakj wrote:Thank you and dont beat me

Re: Whats the biggest planet in the world?
Avatar file sizes:
Freakj = 624K (adblocked).
Habitual = 13.1K
austin.texas = 4.1K
Moen = 3.0K
Flemur = 1.9K
Hints: use jpg rather than png, with high-compression (low quality) - you won't see any difference for any "normal" compression levels (esp if the image has lots of detail).
Edit: do these look different?

File size also directly depends on it's dimentions. Freakj's avatar dimention = 1,065px × 961px !Flemur wrote:Avatar file sizes:Hints: use jpg rather than png, with high-compression (low quality) - you won't see any difference for any "normal" compression levels (esp if the image has lots of detail).
Who asked about biggest planet in the world?
Windows assumes I'm stupid but Linux demands proof of it
Re: Whats the biggest planet in the world?
They look the same but I already know that. My problem it's I can't go as far as 30KB with Gimp but I searched for another avatar, resized and made a lower quality of it.Flemur wrote:Avatar file sizes:

Can you check it now for me?

Who asked about biggest planet in the world?
How can I block XL images/avatars with AdBlock? That's an awesome trick
Re: Whats the biggest planet in the world?

Yes they do! My HD screen shows a ugly jpg and a nice png. Even when they are inside your message.Flemur wrote: Edit: do these look different?
