A few one liners for the holiday.

Postby Fred on Sat Jul 04, 2009 10:13 am

It is Independence day in the US and a patriotic holiday in other parts of the world too. One the light side, here are few of the little sayings I am fond of and have collected over time. In fact they were taken directly from my email signature. :-)

Husse, if you feel any are too political or offensive, feel free to edit it out. I will understand and won't be offended. :-)

Liberal: Someone who is so open-minded, their brains have fallen out.

Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and each time expecting a different result.

When I was born, dirt was still clean, and we were so poor, I had to build a log hut to be born in!

With sufficient thrust, pigs can fly just fine.

Time is what keeps everything from happening all at once.

I started with nothing and I still have most of it.

Facts do not cease to exist when they are ignored.

When SECONDS count and life is on the line, the police are only MINUTES away!

People that hate guns, haven't met enough people that deserve to be shot!

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your planning was fatally flawed.

Do not meddle in the affairs of Wizards, for it makes them soggy, ill tempered, and hard to light.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb protesting the electoral outcome.

The Constitution was NOT written to limit what CITIZENS can do - it was written to limit what GOVERNMENT can do.

I liked them anyway. Enjoy the Holiday and stay safe. :-)

Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on the menu. Liberty is an armed lamb protesting the electoral outcome. A Republic negates the need for an armed protest.

Yeah, I find some most of them funny and true, as in truism
