Anyone else here play Dwarf Fortress?

For the curious, DF is a roguelike which describes itself as follows:
Dwarf Fortress is a single-player fantasy game. You can control a dwarven outpost or an adventurer in a randomly generated, persistent world.
More here.

So, anyone play? If there's enough interest we could maybe get a Mint community fortress going... :D

I haven't, since I prefer fps (first person shooter), or car racing games for graphics
--the only nethack type games I have played are the infocomn text adventure games, which I preferred to the primitive dungeon-hack styles..

--one of the few game styles I really like, since I did get to play the originals on the PDP systems; I also like Sokoban; simple yet addictive..

I guess my favorite interactive game are the car racing ones, especially the rally types; eg Colin McRae

But, Good luck in getting interest..

I play Dward Fortress but I haven't been able to get it installed on Linux Mint. Granted I'm probably the greenest noob on the block where any flavor of Linux is concerned.
