Three lefts make a right? Riddle

Once upon a time a man left home on a journey. He made three left turns on his journey before returning home. As he approached home he saw two masked men waiting on him. Who were these masked men?

The 2 man in the mask is a catcher. and the umpire??? :?

i wish it was as easy as this to solve issues in linux.... :lol:

but a refreshing mental event.....

As a side note, I posted this in a Windows forum about a year ago and after a full page of responses, no one got it. Wonder if that means anything?

1.) People in Linux forums are smarter?

2.) People in Linux forums are used to problems that tie their brains in knots?

lol - no not really, still a big fan of MS sorry to say, but linux is slowly growing on me, i use to be a snr IT consultant back in 2002, so im use to problem solving,

im slowly getting there with linux, maybe it could be the age factor thats slowing me down...lol...but thanks for the challenge
