Sepultura, my favorite heavy metal band :D

I bought "Beneath the Remains" the day it came out and it stayed
in my car's cassette deck for 6 months, I couldn't stop listening to it.
Then of course came "Chaos A.D." which became my new favorite.

Chaos A.D. is one of my favorites. Sepultura isn't so good since Max C. moved on IMO. Huge fan of Soulfly as well, though

BTW, Guardians of Asgaard by Amon Amarth is playing now:) Love me some metal!

Did you ever hear the albums Max did as Nailbomb?
1994's "Point Blank" and 1995's "Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide" .

Very, very harsh stuff

I have heard of Nailbomb but have thusfar been unable to get my hands on anything. My local record store is also the local big box electronics store and their selection is rather thin in the metal genre. May have to look around for legitimate copies, from iTunes maybe.

Satyricon is another good one IMO. Used to listen to a show called "Beyond the Pit" on Sirius channel 27. That turned me on to Satyricon. Been trying out last.fm a little lately.

I'm listening to Hand of Doom - Black Sabbath.

I'd say that's old school.

Such an awesome song.. 12 minutes of pure awesomeness. I saw Opeth live on Prog. Nation 2009, they didn't play Blackwater Park but they did play another one of my favourites: The Lotus Eater. Blackwater Park is absolutely one of their best albums in my opinion anyways!
