"Just a not to say that Fossunet has had a make over with a new theme, some new Social Network plugins is slowly gaining members.
What is Fossunet?
It's similar to Facebook, but on a free platform (Elgg) has no adds and the option to go 100% private.
Features include "The Wire" (Facebook Wall), Blogs, Groups, Gallery, File Uploads, Messages, Bookmarks... basically a central place to share anything you want. You can even feed your latest Twitter posts on your profile page.
It just needs a little more input from Linux users who can spare a few minutes to sign up and show a bit of support for a free project.
As there are already users from Ubuntu, Bsd, Arch, Debian, etc, have signed up ... it would be a great place to keep promoting LinuxMint to the masses.
