Great Job Guys!

I have been looking for this distro for a while, and thanks to my previous Linux experience with SuSE 9.0 through 10.2, and Ubuntu dapper Dapper, and Edgy, I am glad I found you. Everything works!

And, I run 3D, and Beryl off my notebook!

Happy New Year!

BTW, how can I remove both "Computer", and "Home" from my Desktop?

Happy new year everybody!

Adler: run gconf-editor and make a search (key/value) for "computer".. you'll find a key called computer_visible or something like that.. and the similar "home" key will be in the same place.

clem,

Thanks -- that worked. I'm going to have to spend more time over here in these Forums. LOL!

Happy New Year!

Actually, don't mind the gconf editor.. there's a totally new way to do this in Linux Mint: install mintDesktop 1.1 and have fun with it :)

This may seem silly, but I wiped out my /Home taskar Icon, and came back to this post.

I'm glad that I saved (bookmarked) it -- meanwhile rocking along with Bianca!

Great distro!
