last year, I wandered down to a auction companies premises,
complete with a D/Ld copy of their IT auction.

bought a few laptops for around $140 ea, all were wiped by the previous owner.

now have Mint on them - & they run real well

Newegg used to sell OSless laptops.

I just bought a real nice laptop on ebay for cheap: $113 (including shipping)

Dell Latitude d430 with ssd
very nice, small, light

LM14.1Cinnamon is running great on it

It came with w7, but has a sticker for wXP, and a key; I almost tried to do a dual boot with XP install from usb but I gave up and just went pure linux

NO LOOKING BACK!
