hi all,
not being a tecki, i am proud of myself this afternoon, i have managed to upgrade the kernel on one of my laptops without screaming for help, Now ALL my 8011=11N dongles work, yes that includes the latest 300mb tp-link which i could not get any of my putters to recognise, its only showing a 54% connection, but i have now discovered my router is only 150mbs still its now a lot faster than my old 11 g dongles which i can now relegate to the spares box.. tomorrow ...well it's chance my arm and update the other4 puters in the house... I still have one problem device which i dug out the other day, and that's my DVB-t dongle if anyone has experience on getting one working help would be appreciated

Speaking about mint, my parents had to remove some water mint that was overwhelming the garden pool last time. I wanted to make tea out of it, but my parents said that was no good idea.

Tea sounds great ! :D
Watermint plants have topical medicinal properties as a balm for sore muscles and an aid for cleaning wounds. The oils in the leaves add flavor to cooking and baking and leaves add a bright zing to salads. You can dry the leaves for use as a tea, which aids in digestion and calms ulcers.

As a natural pesticide, it repels flies and mice seem to avoid the scent of the plant. Mentha aquatica distillations are also refreshing additions to mouthwash, body wash and even lotions. The pure refreshing scent can add a boost to potpourri and as an aromatherapy treatment the plant calms and refreshes.

As with all mints, the oils and aroma help relieve stuffy noses and clear the breathing passages. Watermint is a valuable and lovely addition to the garden, with uses beyond medicinal and culinary. Add the oil to cleaning products to freshen the home and enliven the air.
