I've seen a few pleas for help from "Gurus" in the Newbie Questions section. Inspired, I guess, by the "All Gurus once were Newbies." string on the board index page. So as an occasional poet, I wrote the following rhyme to the chorus of The Gnu Song, with which I'm sure you're all familiar.

I'm a guru.
A grubby guru.
I have the greatest knowledge of Gnu.

I'm a guru.
You could be too.

Hello there, how do I change the board colour to Green? I liked the Green look. I looked in Control Panel but no luck.
Thank you regards beachgardener.

That's not a thing you can change. In case you haven't noticed, the forum software has been replaced because there was a security breach. Clem and the rest of the team are busy making things work as they should again, I imagine the colour of the forum page is not their first concern.

Just in case, have you changed your forum password yet? Because if not, you really should.

Yes thank you, I did change my password. Yes I did notice the change in the board.
Was just wondering about the colour as I can change colour on other boards. Anyway no big deal maybe further down the track they can give options for colour.
Thank you regards beachgardener.

Good to hear that you changed your password.
The option to change the colour would definitely be nice, I agree... maybe it'll be added later.

The theme will be worked on later. This is not a top priority at the moment for the team :)

That breach a month or so ago did remind me that this place existed, so I guess there's that. But since I don't use Linux Mint any more, there isn't much reason for me to use these forums.

I will mention that I use Two-Factor Authentication wherever I can, and as more websites enable it, I highly recommend anyone worried about their internet security to do the same.

Got 2.1 speakers and new keyboard today. Now enjoying the bass :) . And the keyboard is 'gaming' type with highlighted WSAD keys. I didn't know that was a thing.

Started Windows 10 today to check some things... And the start menu won't open! Man, I'm fed up with this OS. I hope I'll build a new computer for Linux+Win7 in the next 2 months with your advices.

So this is what Scorp used, Ken ? Do you still have that odd kentraption?
Send it to me if it is convenient for you. I would like to try it. Have you patented it?
Cheers,

I sold it to a 200 year old young lady in 2410 who installed MInt 86 on it and went to visit her ancestors in 2130. It was in great shape, only had 45,000 years on the ageometer.

Have you by any chance checked if Mint 86 still supports our current hardware  ? I'm not really too keen on upgrading
