Touch screen not detected after waking up from suspend

Hello all, I've just put linux mint 14 on my netbook, a Dell Inspiron Duo, it's the first version of linux that this netbook has had so I don't know if it's a problem that did or didn't exist in previous version.

The touch screen works fine on starting up from being properly off, but does not work after waking up from suspend.

Any ideas?

I'm also happy for any suggestions of programs to improve touch screen on linux (I can't scroll using the screen for example and it would be nice to have gestures etc)
