New video card, new monitor, will they work?

Postby NugMeister on Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:25 am

Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying a new video card and a new monitor, but I'd like to check first if ther's been any previuos experience in the cummunity about this combination.

I'm planning to buy an Nvidia Geforce GT 520, and so far I've found here in the forum that it does work. It is said to output up to 2560x1600.

I'm also planning to buy an LG 29EA93P Monitor, 2560x1080. This should work, right? I just want to confirm :)

I'm currently using Linux Mint 14.

Thanks in advance,

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

They'll work fine. Just don't expect miracles from that card.
