Hd6450 issue

Postby crazyjust on Mon Apr 01, 2013 7:42 am

Hello. I am having a problem with my amd hd6450 card after install of mint cinnamon 32 bit on an hp compaq dc7600cmt. I install fresh, reboot, and get a black screen. I know I have to install a driver, but how and what is my best option for gaming? Install the driver from amd or additional drivers? Thanks

Someone on this forum said they are getting better performance from the latest beta driver from AMD on their 6-series card. The one installed using jockey should be more stable. It's really up to you. You can install the one using jockey to get your system working, then install the latest one if it isn't good enough.
(jockey-gtk == Additional Drivers by the way. jockey is the CLI version.)
