m17x nvidia dual monitor not working

Postby wyntre5150 on Fri May 03, 2013 11:09 pm

I just installed Linux Mint 14 (Linux wyntre-M17x 3.5.0-17-generic #28-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 9 19:31:23 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux). I am current working on getting a dual monitor setup. I have installed the nvidia drivers from the nvidia website (319.17) with nvidia-settings-319. I am running Cinnamon (mdm 1.0.8 ). I have been currently trying xorg.conf configurations, but I seem to be going away from where I want to be. Currently I am fully updated. I have tried booting to both Cinnamon and Gnome, neither will get the screen working.

Currently my dual monitor is plugged in and recognized by my system but will not display.
